Founder & Principal
Matthew Sokolowski
Serving as the Principal of SokoCRE, Matthew has spent his career dedicated to becoming an expert at every facet of Multifamily Capital Markets and Development. Matthew started his career at NorthMarq Capital, the country’s largest private provider of Multifamily Debt and Equity. During his tenure, he specialized in financing for ground up developments, Assisting in the placement of over $750MM in construction debt and $260MM in Preferred or Joint Venture Equity.
Following his role at NorthMarq, Matthew joined CBRE in Tampa, FL where he served as a broker for one of the largest Multifamily teams in the state, assisting in the disposition of over $3B+ of Multifamily assets. During his tenure at CBRE, Matthew specialized in multifamily land and ground up developments. This allowed Matthew to cultivate relationships with some of the largest institutional multifamily developers, limited partners and lenders in the business. In total, Matthew has transacted on over $4B+ in Multifamily projects, representing 15,000+ units in his career.
Matthew earned his BA in finance at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
